Explained

My longtime friend, Ben Gwartney, is really into film photography, and he’s nice at it. I use vintage photos a lot, which also means I use film photos a lot. I realized, why don’t I collaborate with Ben to just use his film photos?

I was very excited to combine both of our arts, and once I got ideas for several, I knew it had to be a series. I have always been wanting to make video versions of my collages, and once I made the animation of Nope.png(342) first, I knew I needed to do it for them all.

The .png and .mp4 endings are references to how the files appear on my computer, being the difference between video and photo. The process of not trying to replicate the .png edits in the .mp4 edits was key in utilizing the project.
